Comments on: Fedora Core 8, the installation (or rather, Anaconda HELL)

Hello To All…
I have the FC8 Live DVD. I am trying to find the FC* full install DVD-ISO but for the last 5 hours I have failed… Is there anyone that has a site that offers the full system install DVD that is actually a working site. So far every one I have found is a dead site, no longer active…

Can anyone out here help me with this… I am looking for the “Werewolf” Distro of the FC8… Thank You All

This just isn’t on Fedora 8. Fedora 7 and still 9 does the same thing. Some media and drives work and some don’t.

The solution is to burn the ISO off another computer, or at least another burner.

Same problem. I’m burning an iso off an iMac with a Sony DVD+R SL and I get the same set of error messages.

Probably so, thats why the Media check should indicate FAILED in stead of PASSED.
